we have the remnants of sandy moving out. but keeping a close eye on a system over to the west, and that will be part of our storm system as we head through into next week that we have to watch closely. election day, chilly conditions in the upper midwest, bit of snow. warm and sunny to the south. pacific northwest looking at showers. east coast, looking at mainly sunshine, but to the southeast, some rain from that same system. that system is leaving us with a lot of questions. we're looking at the possibility of system from the west merging with the system that's going to be up over the upper midwest, over the great lakes, and as it pushes down to the south, moving its way up the eastern seaboard. some of the models don't have the merge happening. some of the models have that system tracking out to sea. another model or two has it being close to the coast. now the track of that system is the huge question mark giving us a big challenge. whatever happens, looks like this will be a pretty big rain event more than anything else
